What is Flynn's Beach Squad?
Flynn's Beach Squad is a volunteer opportunity for locals and visitors alike who are looking to make a difference in Port Aransas. The Squad does various trash cleanups around the island. Spots include on the beach, Alister St., Cotter Ave., Roberts Point Park, and more
When do we meet?
Flynn's Beach Squad meets every Monday at 4:00 p.m. From 4 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. is check in and location assignment. 4:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. is the clean up, and from 5 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. is wrapping up and returning to the meeting spot at Horace Caldwell Pier.
Where do we meet?
On the righthand side of Horace Caldwell Pier by the first covered picnic table.
Do I need to bring anything?
Be sure to bring things like water, sunscreen, comfortable shoes, and sunglasses to stay hydrated and help shield from the sun. Reusable yellow trash bags and trash grabbers will be provided.
Additional Information
All volunteers must sign a liability and release form. Volunteers of all ages are welcome, however, volunteers aged 15 and younger must have a parent or legal guardian present during the duration of the cleanup.
